We consult with architects, builders, and homeowners. Our services include templates, drawings, clay, and plaster models. We often work from photos, sketches, archival records, and shop drawings.
Our primary focus at British Stoneworks is on historic preservation and restoration projects where we replicate the original architects intent and match the techniques used by the carvers and sculptors of the past. We also create new pieces of artwork skillfully carved into Berea sandstone, limestone and marble which can be enhanced with surface finishes, tooling and texture along with paint and guilding.
