Built in 1908, this Bratenahl, Ohio mansion is located just east of Cleveland. The estate was inspired by the White House and designed by architect Charles A. Platt. It is said that the gardens on the property cost the same as the mansion itself. Owned by Mr. William G. Mather and his wife, Elizabeth, the estate and grounds were the home to the philanthropists and civic-minded couple until their passing in the 1950’s.
